A diesel shop and a studio have more in common than people think. Both run on listening: to an engine that's off, to a mix that's muddy. Both reward the person who knows exactly where to look.
The software came from the same place. I kept wanting tools that understood the work, so I taught myself to build them, and then built the AI to help run them.
